But how does that look in practice?GAMEPLAYGameplay in Bohemian Killing is a combination of a courtroom drama, and a walking simulator. It can be classified as a first person experience, or a first person interactive story adventure game.The story is set within two time frames. In the present, you find yourself locked up in the courtroom. You're getting acquainted with the evidence, witness testimony and questions posed by the Judge. Each question triggers a flashback - and begins your testimony. During the flashback you find yourself in a Parisian district, with each of your decisions, interactions and action affecting Alfred Ethons' testimony and the final verdict.To help you in your testimony, you'll have access to all the evidence gathered on the case - expert opinions, reports and witness testimonies. Each of them can be (but doesn't have to be!) refuted in a number of different ways.In the Evidence menu you can familiarize yourself with testimonies of witnesses, forensic expertises, physical evidences, etc. They are grouped into appropriate categories, making them easy to find.Sample:A neighbor testified that at approximately 10 p.m. he passed you in the entrance of the tenement house, noticing that your clothes were covered in blood? Try testifying that your neighbor lies and prove that he has a reason to do so. Or maybe you'll get into a bar fight just a few minutes before, so that you can testify that the blood the neighbor saw was yours, and not the victim's? Or maybe you will cut yourself while shaving, covering your clothes with blood that the neighbor sees later? Feels a bit repetetive, because there is autosave only, so if you screwed up a choice and it's your seventh run, it's kinda boring to replay the game again.However I've played only three runs - one quite long one and two very short in 2.6 hours. Bought the game on a sale, because I liked the idea and wasnt dissapointed. The soundtrack is great and the voice acting is totally ok. Don't expect tripple A graphic, but it runs smooth and the overall design is more than ok for an indie project - just imagine a cheap dishonored with a more ugly background skyline.The only Problem I've detected is the part of walking. Like. You walk the same location across the street like 10 times in one run. This is a bit too much. I coulnd't imagine a better solution for that tho.Overall I highly recommend you this game, however would still recommend it to you for sale prices - just in case you doesn't like it.. 8.5/10 Baised review. Do not think of the 10 out of 10 score for grade schools. 5 out of 10 is not an F. It's still passing in this sense. This game is amazing. For an indie gogo game, I honestly wish this had been given more money. BECAUSE THE ONLY THING BAD ABOUT IT IS THE CLUNCKY ANIMATIONS. Pro: Great voice acting (For the script)1. The script being that of a very dramatic French Courtroom.2. The Voice actors are good enough that, I couldn't tell if it was English voice actors doing French accents, or if it was French voice actors doing English accents.3. Gameplay is that of a point and click adventure. Intentionally made without subtitles, to infuse the idea of a real emersive court room.4. (This will sound like a Con): My first time playing, I almost fell asleep from how long the opening cut scene is. It ♥♥♥♥ed me up. That is exactly how it should to be, it is all about time managment and memory. 5. Multiple endings6. Realistic time use.CONS1. Animation is poopie. Great game, very interesting story. Apparently there is a 10th ending to the game also where you clip out of bounds while trying to escape the prision and you fall into oblivion. I guess ideally that's the best ending since nothing further happens thus there was only one victim.. Interesting concept, but tedious and buggy gameplay.. Unfortunately, no game that I really like. I really hoped for more. The only positive for me was the graphics, that look like the game itself.. Very Unique! Love a good murder mystery, though when I'm playing as the murder attempting to cover my tracks? Does something for me in a good way! Love the style! What this game is lacking graphically it makes up for with a unique style and sense of gameplay
